Willbuy Co., Ltd. (“we”) handles your personal data with care and collects only what this site actually needs, as set out below.
1. What we collect
- — When you sign in with Google: your name, email address, and profile picture
- — When you sign up by email: your email address, name, and password. The password is stored only in a form that cannot be turned back, and we never keep the original.
- — When you visit: the country you connect from, used to set your language, currency, and shipping terms
- — When you order: order number, items and quantities, order total, and order date
- — If you choose to fill them in: your age band, gender, and what you are managing. All three are optional and you can clear them at any time.
- — We do not collect postal addresses, phone numbers, or payment details on this site. Your Google password is verified by Google and never reaches us.
2. Why we use it
- — To recognise you and show your account page and order history
- — To set the language, displayed currency, and shipping terms for your country
- — To estimate your repurchase interval and remind you when a product is about to run out
- — To show the age band and concern a reviewer entered beside their review (the name is shown with the middle hidden)
- — To count what members of a similar age or concern tend to choose — we show how many people, never who
- — To count sales by country — these counts are aggregated and do not identify individuals
3. How long we keep it
- — Account details: kept so you can sign back in, and deleted without delay once you ask us to.
- — Order records: kept as required by Korean consumer protection law — 5 years for contract and withdrawal records, 5 years for payment records, and 3 years for complaint and dispute records.
- — The cookie that keeps you signed in: 30 days.
4. Who else sees it
- — We do not sell your personal data or share it for advertising.
- — Google LLC — sign-in. We receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google during sign-in.
- — Vercel Inc. — hosting. Data stored by this site resides on their servers.
- — Where a product has to be shipped, the details needed for delivery may be passed to a carrier. We will tell you on the order screen which details go to whom before that happens.
5. Transfers outside Korea
- — Both companies in section 4 operate servers outside Korea, so your data is transferred abroad.
- — The data transferred is the data listed in section 1; the purpose and retention are as in sections 2 and 3.
- — If you would rather it were not, you can browse our products without signing in with Google. You will not be able to use the account page or place orders.
6. Cookies
- — We use one cookie to keep you signed in and one short-lived cookie to confirm that a sign-in was not intercepted.
- — We use no advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.
- — You can refuse cookies in your browser, but you will then not stay signed in.
7. Your rights
- — You may ask at any time to see, correct, or delete your personal data, or to have us stop processing it.
- — Write to the address below and we will act within 10 days and tell you the outcome.
- — You can also withdraw this site's access directly from your Google Account settings.
